Ippocalyptica It was never a question of if, but only when, I would buy a masterfully-produced live album featuring many of Misþyrming’s and Sól án varma’s best songs. My biggest live music goal in 2024 is to see Misþyrming play live at Ascension later this year, and while this is a bit out of my hands at the moment, it would be a true bucket list moment for me to do so. Now that I can hear how well they play their incredible material in a live setting, I respect the band even more. Top notch stuff! Favorite track: Hof.

David Fischer Yule is early, my friends. Með hamri í lifandi formi came out of nowhere and contains both my favourite pieces of music by Misþyrming as well as Sól án varma. Unlike Lady Yoma, I haven't seen them live unfortunately but that flaw shall be corrected as soon as possible! The setlist is great and the performance insane, energetic and as infectuous as the black plague when it first broke out. Seventy minutes of unbridled, ecstatic madness. Thanks, Gentlemen!

Hehe I saw them when? a month ago? the venue was so crowded I wasn't able to throw my fist in the air, wonder how the pit didn't burst the walls open, D.G. was soaking wet like straight from the shower, the place smelt of burnt amp cable insulation and it was madness like this here. Thanks for this and for that gig, guys!
